Kim Payant shot a wonderful winter wedding recently for our clients Caroline & Jordan. Here’s Kim story of the day:
“Caroline and Jordan decided to have only their closest family and friends attend their intimate wedding at the Fairmon Banff Springs Hotel. The pastor, a friend of the family, did an amazing job and the ceremony was truly touching and you could really feel the love during the celebration. After the vows, Caroline, Jordan and I went for a drive around town to capture the beauty of the Rockies. I just loved everything about Caroline’s dress, it fitted her perfectly and her winter cape with the fur was the perfect accessory for their amazing winter wedding!”

I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Overdrive Design to make portraits of the management team at Response Biomedical Corp in Vancouver. Thanks to Les McDonald of Tracker Productions for his able assistance !
Paul & Dione…..love on an elevator
Our recent wedding clients Diane & Paul were so great to work with. They rode a few elevators & climbed many stairs to get some dramatic portraits on top of the famous Banff Springs Hotel. It was a spectacular evening and our timing was perfect as we managed to have some perfect alpen glow to finish off their portrait session. A great party followed in Cascade Ballroom, with music and atmosphere provided by Patrick Smiley of Class Act DJ Service, a very popular photobooth by John Thiessen of Banff Photobooth. Kudos also to Leanne of Leaneoftebroweddings.com for great wedding planning and design and thanks as always to Kathy R and her team at the Fairmont who make our job very easy with all their support!

We have attached the link to our facebook pages and have received comments such as "The best wedding pictures I have ever seen" and "Those pictures are so amazing, I have goosebumps". You have such a positive attitude and made us feel comfortable, relaxed and excited. Our wedding day could not have been any better and we want to thank you for being a big part of it! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos!

A few years ago we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lori & Chris here in Banff. They recently returned for a visit and stopped by to have a few portraits as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of their first child. These guys are so fun and so in love! I can’t wait to meet the little guy when he arrives!

Banff was a winter wonderland once again as Kim and I documented the wedding of Vanessa & Jonathan. A “little” wind chill

A beautiful late December evening in Banff, a wedding party dressed for the occasion and huge smiles all around made my job easy as Kim and I joined Colleen and Cayle for their wedding on Dec. 29th. The happy couple braved quite a chill after sunset to make one last portrait under starry skies.

Judith & Aaron and their children traveled from Australia to celebrate their wedding here in Banff on Christmas Eve. I’m sure -15 C was a new experience for all, but as we often say, they had their love to keep them warm

Kim & I had a great time with Jackie & Dan as they braved a little ice & snow to celebrate their wedding here in the Rockies. The clouds parted and the snow held off for a few minutes as they exchanged vows in Banff’s Cascade Gardens.
